The project scope consists of Design, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) of Spent Caustic Wet Air Oxidation Treatment Unit on Turnkey basis.

The Wet Air Oxidation Unit (WAO) treats spent caustic effluent having a capacity of 5 m³/hr. The treated water is disposed.

The treatment unit processes comprise of oil coalesce, oxidation tank, stream heat exchangers, activated carbon adsorption column, napthenic acid removal arrangement, elemental Sulphur filtration unit and chemical oxidant reactor vessel.
