The project scope consisted of Design, Basic & Detailed Engineering and Supply of 2 Nos. complete Gas cleaning system for tail gases, as a part of Pollution Control system to meet SO₂ & SPM emission standards. The system as a whole is completely equipped with necessary instrumentation for safe and smooth operation of the plant.

The scrubbing system is having a design gas handling capacity of 1,75,000 Nm³/h each.

The system supplied consists of the following:

1.         Scrubber for SO₂ removal
2.         Double Alkali Regeneration System
3.         Chemical handling section.
